THEMBA (meaning ‘hope’) is a versatile skin cream formulated from the fruit of the Kigelia Africana tree. This tree has a long history of use in southern Africa for helping with dry, damaged and problem skin. We call Themba our “little pot of comfort”.

Our skin, the body’s largest organ, and the most visible one, is subject to many problems, from disfiguring conditions to contact injuries and damage from the sun.

Kigelia Africana may be used for:

  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Dermatitis
  • Cold Sores
  • Verrucas
  • Acne & Spots
  • Cuts, Scrapes & Burns
  • Insect Bites & Stings

In addition to Kigelia extract we have added to THEMBA other ingredients that may be beneficial to the skin, including:

  • Aloe Excelsia
  • Calendula
  • Wheatgerm Oil
  • Lavender
  • Vitamin E

We are proud to say that THEMBA does NOT contain steroids, antibiotics, perfume or parabens. All Little Herbal Company supplements & creams are formulated and prepared by our fully qualified pharmacist.

How to use THEMBA Herbal Skin Cream

THEMBA seems to be suitable for the most sensitive of skins and for the tiniest newborn babies.

Apply twice a day, sparingly, to external skin, or more often if necessary. Be sure to rub the cream in until it is entirely absorbed by the skin. Persevere, as response times vary considerably.

We ALWAYS recommend a patch test, as with everything that goes onto the skin.
